SUMMARY

This article lists info about Error (Code 28) that Device Manager may report and provides resolutions. To view the error codes, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, and in the Open box, type control panel.
2. In Control Panel, double-click System, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
3. Double-click a device type. For example, double-click Modems to see the devices in that category.
4. Double-click a device to view its properties. If an error code has been generated, the code appears in the Device Status box that is on the General tab.
